More About Us

The Bioinformatics Interest Group was developed by graduate students as a part of the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in response to the growing demand for bioinformatics in student research. With this in mind, BIG provides open lessons to anyone interested in furthering their research using computational biology or bioinformatics methods, regardless of skill level.
